Windshield protection questions
Can I tint my whole windshield in Nebraska?
No. Nebraska allows tint only on the top of the windshield, down to the AS-1 line or 5 inches. Clear film and rain-repellent coatings are fine on the whole glass.
How long does a rain-repellent coating last?
It lasts for months, depending on how much you drive and use your wipers. It can be topped up.
Will clear film stop my windshield cracking?
It helps against small pits from grit and sand. A big rock can still crack the glass underneath.
Can you see the film?
Clear windshield film is made to be optically clear. You look straight through it.
How long does it take?
A coating takes about an hour. Film takes longer, and we tell you when we book.
